We are a weird fiction and horror blog and press operated by Justin A. Burnett. Currently, we publish annual anthologies featuring both established and new voices in genre fiction, as well as single author collections and novels, special edition reprints, and homemade chapbooks. Our debut anthology, Mannequin: Tales of Wood Made Flesh, was named “best multi author anthology of 2019” by Rue Morgue magazine.
On our blog, we review books, conduct author interviews, and host our well-known annual list of “10 Weird Writers to Save Us,” spotlighting exciting new writers in weird and horror fiction. It’s not beyond us to post more philosophical essays and retrospectives covering various media.
We try to frequently remain open to submissions. We are proud of being a small, DIY company operating from a single, cramped office. We publish what is good, the stuff that unsettles us in all the right ways. We like writing that shimmers with intelligence and impassioned creativity. Above all, we want to keep things interesting.
While not working on the latest SMM project, Justin A. Burnett also works as an author and freelance copy editor.
